FAVORABLE DECISIONS BEFORE KENTUCKY SUPREME COURT:

McGregor v. Hines, 995 S.W.2d 384 (Ky. 1999):  Client was charged with first degree murder out of McCracken County.  Attorney McGee successfully argured that a defendant should have as much of a right to retain and test evidence as the government.  Supreme Court adopted Attorney McGee's argument in a landmark ruling in Kentucky.  Case has been widely relied upon by courts and criminal defense attorneys throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  Case was widely publicized in the local media.

Commonwealth v. McManus, 107 S.W.3d (Ky. 2003):  Client was originally convicted for drug trafficking out of McCracken Circuit Court.  Attorney McGee successfully argued that the police violated client's right to be free from an unreasonable search by police.  Supreme Court adopted Attorney McGee's argument and dismissed Client's conviction.  Case has been widely relied upon by courts and criminal defense attorneys throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  Of note, Client never served any jail time as a result of Attorney McGee's representation; then Attorney General Ben Chandler sought review of the Court's decision by the United States Supreme Court which Attorney McGee successfully prevented.  Case was widely publicized in the local medica as Client was an educator at the time.
